I started this artwork back in 2020, it was lockdown & I was very content being locked up with time to paint and get my groove back after a few years of hustling.
I didn’t know what I was going to do with this canvas - once I painted the red check background it sat in my studio for 2 years before I picked it up again. I then started playing with the idea of clay and with my undying love for diners - this piece came together very naturally.
